Privacy and cookies
The checker measures your photo in the browser and sends nothing to a server. Here is what that means in practice.
Updated: October 16, 2026
Your photo is never uploaded: everything is measured in your browser.
Your photo
Your photo is never uploaded: it is read, measured and drawn right in your browser. Face detection runs locally too — the model is downloaded into the browser and your photo stays in it. Close the tab and nothing of it remains with us.
What we collect
We never ask for a name, an email or a phone number, and there are no accounts. The only things kept are the language you picked and your answer about ads — both in your own browser.
Cookies
- APP_LOCALE — the language you picked, one year. Set only when you pick one yourself.
- ads-consent-required — whether your region needs the ad question, one hour. Set only when ads are enabled.
- We set no other cookies: the analytics works without them, and a first visit with ads off stores nothing at all.
Local storage
Your browser also keeps your answer about ads in local storage, and the developer panel state in development builds.
Ads
Ads are third-party content: they are served by ad networks, which may set their own cookies and use identifiers to choose what to show. Where it is required, we ask for consent first. Declining costs you nothing — the checker works exactly the same.
Your region does not require a consent for ads, so none is asked.
Analytics
Visit statistics are counted by Umami. It sets no cookies and collects no personal data, only anonymous view counts.
Technical logs
Our server stores no data about you. Technical logs (address, time, browser) are kept by the hosting provider, which is standard practice for security and abuse protection.
Your rights
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to delete or export. You can withdraw your ad consent at any time with the buttons above; it stops applying immediately.
